On December 21, 2025 at St. Anne’s Church Mazagoan ‘Jonathan and Deidre” said ‘I Do’ and commited themselves to each other for life

But it all began the day of their Confirmation Mass — when they were finally introduced, even though they’d known each other since 4th standard.

Fun fact: Fr. Vivian the same teacher who prepared them for Confirmation is now the one officiating their wedding!

Their friendship bloomed over shared Economics notes and spontaneous movie outings. Two years later, the spark was undeniable. On December 21, 2014, while 500 km away in a small village in Mangalore, Jonathan finally texted Deidre to tell her how he felt — exactly 11 years before they say “I do.” Turns out, she had felt the same from the start.

Nearly a decade of love later, it was time to make it official. After the families met, Deidre began hinting about a ring, while Jonathan secretly teamed up with his friend to design one himself.

On February 23, 2025, over Sarvi restaurant kebabs in their PJs, he went down on one knee — and she said yes, through happy tears! It wasn’t grand or staged; it was simple, heartfelt, and perfectly them.

Now, almost a year later, as they mark 11 wonderful years together, they can’t wait to celebrate their story with all those who’ve shared in their joy — a weekend of fun, food, laughter, and endless dancing!
